Silence. I see the blue marks under my message, so I know she’s read it. Am I asking to much now? I know it’s a big thing to ask. to give a complete stranger acces to your house like this.
‘\[…\] is typing’
It goes away again, no answer. a couple of minutes go by. At this point i’m just expecting a message that it’s to much to ask. that she can’t do that. I put my phone away, dissapointed but not thát surprised. I turn to my laptop and start a reply on a work email. but then my phone lights up
‘Okay Sir’ and a picture attached: her housekey at the bottom of a plant pot.
***’i’ll see you in an hour’***
i quickly get up and start gathering some stuff i’ll need. a couple af heavy duty zip-tie’s, ductape, rope. you know, basic ‘survival kit’ and get in my car. I type her adress in my satnav end set of. 40 minute drive, perfect timing.
I arrive but after I park, I actually have to gather myself for a minute. I had a scenario like this in my head for years! is this actually going to happen now?!
I get in her building and walk up the stairs. i get to her front door an immediatly spot the plant. i lift it up, and there it is. i open the door and step inside her hallway. i listen. it’s silent, just some soft music playing but nothing else. i can smell she led up some incense. made an effort to set a good atmosphere. I put away my jacket and shoes and open the door to her living room.
